Have you ever been to an amusement park with no rides? If your answer is no, then you haven’t been to Downtown Las Vegas. I take that back…if walking becomes too much for you on Fremont St, you can ride the SlotZilla. It’s an extreme 114ft zip line that whips you over the crowd from one end to the next. Down on the street you’ll experience people watching like you never have before. I mean, it gets weird. From the eight year old dancing Micheal Jackson, to the old practically naked guy with ducted tape underwear. These street performers are definitely a sight to see. And speaking of sights, Fremont takes entertainment to a whole new level with their Viva Vision canopy light show. The roof, or should I say LED screen, spans 1,500 feet long! These mind boggling shows usually begin around dusk, and run late into the night. If all that isn’t entertaining enough, you can always check out the casinos, live converts, or the Golden Nugget water slide that’ll shoot you into a pool through a shark tank. Yeah, a shark tank. So whether you’re a local like me or just visiting, be spontaneous and add this extraordinary destination to your to-do list.
