Ahh traveling via airplane…it’s such a love-hate relationship. Sure, you’ll get to your destination a lot quicker than say maybe by car or train. But it can also become a hassle with all of the waiting, extra fees, etc. Try out these tricks I’ve listed below, and I’m sure your next trip to the airport will go a lot smoother.
The Eight Week Rule
Roll Vs Fold
I love this trick! Especially because checking bags and carry-ons can get pretty pricey. Next time you’re packing your bags, try rolling clothing items instead of folding them. Place your rolled socks into your shoes, also. All the extra room will save you money by not having to check as many bags.
To the Left
We all hate waiting in line at TSA. It takes forever! Here’s a helpful tip: chose the line on the left. Research has shown that people prefer to turn right, so the line on the left almost always has fewer people. Also, when booking your flight, chose a window seat on the left side of the plane. The windows are offset, leaving you a flat surface to rest your head on. If you like being the first off of the plane, book that seat on the left towards the front of the plane. That’s where most planes locate their exit doors.
